Fantastic evening on the 19th, in the company of some of the best Burns commentators, singers and reciters on the circuit. John Haining, Past President of the Robert Burns World Federation, puts together a marvellous supper; one which I’ve been delighted to be attending these past couple of years. The performances are of the highest standard, with a programme which differs from the majority of suppers you’ll attend. Fabulous oration, follows under-represented poem, follows dynamic song in a very full programme lasting three hours and more.
I can truly say, I’m counting the days ‘til Friday, 25 March 2011!
