On the Fringe

I’ve just been for a quick meet with Peter Henderson, of Hendersons on Hanover St. I say it was a meet with Peter, but unfortunately, he had fallen doon an’ broken his croon, so instead we had a very productive meeting with Peter Warburton, the Gallery director and Gregor Sloss, the Press co-ordinator for the organisation. I’m pleased to announce that along with Professor David Purdie, a weel-ken’d face to anyone interested in Burns, I’ll be presenting a brunch show on the subject of Edinburgh’s Enlightenment at the Hanover St premises during Edinburgh’s Festival Fringe this year.

In the fullness of time, this will merit its own page, but just to give you the heads-up, the show will run from the 16th – 28th August, excepting Sunday, from 10.30 – 11.30 am and tickets will cost £10, £8 concessions.
